All About Lynne........
Lynne Goodwin is a native of Greensboro, North Carolina. She is a fresh new voice in the
entertainment community here in the Piedmont, but she is not new to music. She has a degree in
vocal performance from the UNCG school of music. Her love of singers such as Ella Fitzgerald,
Louis Armstrong, Sarah Vaughn launched her into role singing with the Likewisejazz Trio, but she
has also embraced current favorites such as Dianna Krall, Jamie Cullum, Jane Monheit and Norah
Jones. The Likewisejazz Trio is the house band for Noble's Grille in Winston-Salem, NC where
they perform every Friday night from March-December, but Lynne has been seen for New Years Eve
at venues such as The Ritz Carlton in Tyson's Corner near Washington DC and Pinehurst Country
Club. The most notable venue for Lynne was singing in the Royal Military Chapel in London,
England just adjacent to Buckingham Palace. Also, in Spring of 2007, performed for George
Clooney's private Birthday Party which was held at the Speakeasyjazz in Winson-Salem. Lynne's
latest opportunity has been with The Process studio. She has completed some studio work for
Kindermusik. Lynne has formerly played with groups such as Moment's Notice and
VISIONband(out of Asheboro, NC).
